Here she is stitched! I wasn't sure about the colours, but now I think they're OK. Will look nice with the fabric I've chosen. The trousers are actually blue, but the photo makes them look more lavender.
While I was at it I also did this:
to be finished as a new home card. I have an orange mount for it which should look cool. I'm finally getting better at french knots!
DH is decorating our (internal) porch. He's painted it cream which looks clean but rather bare. I've seen a fab design for a folk art sampler which says "welcome" and would fit in there beautifully. It has a row of bird houses, some with smoke coming out of the chimney .... I'll maybe scan the pic in to show on here tonight. I'd need to change the colours (of course). Trouble is, I really don't have time to stitch it. Story of my life - and everyone else's!
I've had an email to say my order has been despatched, so with a bit of luck it should arrive today and I can start the other wedding sampler tonight. Otherwise I may just have to start the "welcome" one ..........
